Although learning a new language was difficult, I was capable of learning new things. In no time, I had mastered the language, and I was doing well in school. Being used to the food in Mexico, I was very picky with the foo that was served here. I was not used to eating pizza and hamburgers; I wanted the homemade food that my mother always prepared for us. the money was very different. As a young girl, I would always get ripped off by people in the store or my classmates.
